In the same museum complex in Sinaia, as the Peles Castle tourists can visit also the Pelisor Castle or Castelul Pelisor . The geographical coordinates are 45° 21' 38? N, 25° 32' 21? E.  Built between 1899-1902 by the Czech architect Karel Liman, and decorated by the Viennese Bernhard Ludwig, the Pelisor Castle  was the housing of princely pair, Ferdinand of Hohenzollern  and Queen Mary, from 1903.
 
The honor lobby, refined by simplicity, is paneled with oak. The skylight proves to be remarkable as it is decorated with stained glass, specific architectural art element of the 1900`s.
 
King Ferdinand’s office is imposing by its solemnity. From the German style furniture ensamble, the most important is walnut office covered with three carved panels, depicting the castles of Peles, Pelisor and Foisor.
 
The Chapel from Queen Mary’s apartment is in a space covered with marble of Ruschita that can be reached through a gold plated archway with columns, bearing a characteristic inscription.
 
The Gold bedroom is furnished with pieces made in 1909, in arts and crafts workshops in Sinaia,, by the plans and drawings of the Queen. Carved in lime wood and gold plated, the decorations are inspired by a Celtic and byzantine zoomorphic elements, interpreted in the manner of Art in 1900.
 
Queen Mary’s office, located in an interior decorated with columns Brancovenesti style, a specific Romanian home interior, includes furniture designed by the Queen. The Chairs and the correspondence table are decorated with Mary’s symbols, lilies and the cross.
 
The Gold Room, the main room of the palace, is unusual decoration wise. The stucco walls have thistles leafs; ornament loved by the queen because it was the emblem of Nancy city, Art-Nouveau's capital, but also of Scotland, the birthplace of Mary. The furniture decorated with Celtic and byzantine elements are complimented by the enlightener in the form of a Celtic cross on the ceiling.
 
Pelisor Castle houses a valuable collection of decorative art belonging to the Art-Nouveau's, including works by artists such as E. Galle, Daum brothers, J. Hoffmann, L.C. Tiffany, Gurschner . Also an interesting work of art is the parchment made by Mary and given to Ferdinand in 1906.
